Logging In

i know this is not the right area to put this problem on so hopefully it will be moved by a mod :) but everytime i leave the site and comeback i have to sign in again :) i have changed providers but that shouldn't cause the problem should it? any advice gratefully accepted :)

Hmm....i have the index page saved in my faves..so everytime i come on the forum i just click the link in my faves..i never have to log in.......otherwise im nay sure. :)

i have that also but to type in this reply i had to log in, it was ok friday :)

If you click on the log out then click on the login shortcut next to where it says Guest and then you will have the opportunity to tick the "remember me" box that way as you login it will enable you to return without having to enter your password.

 

However you may need to enable cookies in your internet setting of that does not work.

Possible causes, you have upgraded to IE 7 where everything goes to pot

You have set browser to delete cookies on exit or privicy to high

You are logging in on different computers where the last stored session does not match

You are not ticking the remember me button

 

If non of the above delete all cookies and try again :)

Sorted,now i have my free sky broadband and the cookies set all is ok :(
